Summary

This build improves on various bugs from yesterdays playtest, additions to deckbuilding in the form of deck import codes, and rebalancing all cards for playtesting


New features

  • Implemented Deck saving and sharing
  • Rebalanced all of the cards within the game

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the customization panes for decks would show a glitched screen of options for cosmetics
  • Fixed a bug where players saw duplicates of card backs in their deck customization menu
  • Fixed a bug where players saw duplicates of card bands in their deck customization menu
  • Fixed a bug where players saw duplicates of card borders in their deck customization menu
  • Fixed a bug where upon purchasing items from shop the items wouldn't automatically appear
  • Fixed a bug where upon selecting a newly purchased item from the shop the default card back would disappear as an option
  • Fixed a bug where the selected cosmetic in the customization window would not show by default as the preview
  • Fixed a bug where player names would wrap when longer than 11 characters
  • Fixed a bug where bundles were clickable
  • Fixed a bug where players were able to buy multiples of card backs in weird circumstances
  • Fixed a bug where a glitched item preview window was viewable when clicking on certain bundles
  • Fixed a visual bug where the "Sold" indicator on items in the shop would have its border appear in front of the item type bubble
  • Fixed a bug where players would be unable to select other items after exiting an item preview in an errored state


Known issues

  • Core menu can occlude the reward group
  • Cards that are moving to their position still trigger audio effects when they shouldn't

Balance Changes

A lot of balance changes were made in preparation of the next playtest, these changes reduced our average mana cost in the game from 4.6 to 3.4. While these changes are extensive we believe they are far more in line with our expectations for match times and turn actions.

  • Reduced the mana cost of Frostbolt from 2 -> 1
  • Reduced the mana cost of Foresight from 3 -> 2
  • Reduced the mana cost of Cowardice from 5 -> 4
  • Reduced the mana cost of Divine Blessing from 4 -> 3
  • Increased the amount of HP granted by Divine Blessing from 3 -> 4
  • Reduced the mana cost of Damnation from 6 -> 3
  • Changed Damnation's effect to "Execute any unit with 4 or below HP"
  • Changed Condemnation's effect to "Executes any friendly minion and retrieves its mana cost"
  • Reduced the mana cost of Condemnation from 10 -> 0
  • Reduced the mana cost of Nullify from 7 -> 5
  • Reduced the mana cost of Overheal from 6 -> 4
  • Reduced the mana cost of Charlatan's Delight from 6 -> 5
  • Reduced the mana cost of Roguelike Desire from 4 -> 3
  • Reduced the mana cost of Forced Shuffle from 5 -> 3
  • Increased the mana cost of Charm from 7 -> 5
